My personal philosophies that I apply to every consultation
No one plan suits everyone
There has to always be a “Cause or Reason”
Three things to consider are - Diet, Stressors (Emotional & Physical) & Environmental triggers
Gastro-Intestinal Tract often plays a large part in disease development
Vagus Nerve stimulation can be an important part of healing
The inclusion of herbs in people’s treatment plans can have a beautiful healing response

You'd be amazed by the number of plants we think are ornamental or "weeds" that are actually beneficial to your daily nutrient/vitamin/mineral intake. Weeds such as Chickweed are not only demulcent and great for mucus membranes, but highly nutritious as well. They can be incorporated in daily life either as a 'green' in food or infused in hot water as a tea as well as other ways. This is a simple example of one method I encourage use of to benefit our body.

My focus on eating habits is to remove aggressors that could be causing damage to the digestive tract and improve gut health and liver metabolism. Many clients (myself included) have realised the importance of creating change which results in improved overall health. The use of herbs in your daily diet for health improvements is included in treatment plans.

Iris analysis can really help you understand your unique health presentation and find the best remedies. It is very interesting.

Tapping is a powerful release technique that has been known to address many of the root causes of health issues, stresses and in some instances even pain.. Many people have found this very supportive in their journey to wellness.
-
I’ve found this method to be especially helpful as a releasing technique, one that can be carried out even in a public place where no one is aware that you might be undertaking a stress management technique. This is an amazing tool for working on the subconscious where many Traumas are stored.

Buteyko Method, Wim Hof Method or just plain old Square Breathing. I’ve personally found that breathing is a very important habit especially when working with Stress related as well as Gut related issues. It is very easy to shallow breathe and not being aware of that. Obviously, Oxygen entering our lungs and bloodstream is extremely important to us. There is a school of thought that breathing techniques can help in recovery from health imbalance as well as managing stress levels as required.

I undertook study with Emrys Goldsworthy. The importance of a healthy Vagus Nerve to support Cardio, Digestive and Respiratory Systems is becoming more regular in the treatment of Health Issues. Vagus Nerve Stimulation is a tool that can also be learnt to help maintain health in the body.

The hardest part can be making the commitment to commence your
Healing Journey.
Once you start, change occurs
As a result of my own personal experience, my main clinical focus is primarily on improving digestive health. I’ve found that by treating the digestive system as a whole, clients that have experienced long term eczema, bloating, constipation, diarrhoea, food allergies, inflammation, arthritis, auto-immune concerns - all can gain benefit and improvement from my methods.
The process I begin with always includes a food assessment (which will often give the ‘aha’ moments), examining your environment (products containing toxins & chemicals) and stressors. Trying to find a “reason” for the imbalance through a comprehensive assessment.
Usually, it has taken many years for your body to get to the condition it is now. The process of recovery to optimal health could take some time as new habits & beliefs need to be created. I ensure it is an enjoyable process and will support you along the way.

Often the initial consultation will involve detailed personal history, iridology check ( in person), discussion on how to maintain a food diary for minimum 4 days and about the best treatment plan to follow. At this time my client may be advised to take minor herbal remedies however I do not believe in overwhelming the body with too many herbs or supplements initially. This is a time to discover what might be the cause of the illness and focus on removing these things, whether it be food, stress or even chemicals in the home or workplace.
I work with my clients weekly for the first 4 weeks, supplying as much information as possible in the treatment plan. After one month, improvements should start to become noticeable and the pattern of treatment becoming a habit. Usually, appointment timeframe then reduces to every 2-3 weeks.
Initial appointments are 1.5-2 hours and subsequent appointments are usually 30-45 minutes.
